Mandsaur:
Police said a fast van took a dip in a water -filled well after hitting a bike in Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday, including 11 people, including a biker and rescue, deceased.
The incident occurred in Narayangar police station area.
Manoj Singh, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Ratlam Range, said that 13 persons were traveling in the van.
He said, “Four of them were rescued while nine others died. A villager, who was identified as Manohar, who landed in the well for rescue, also died,” he said, the body of a victim of an accident has not been taken out of the well yet.
Prima Facial, the van driver lost control of the wheel after hitting the vehicle with a bike and fell into the well. He said that the bike rider was also killed.
A rescue operation, which includes personnel of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and other units, is running.
Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda, who arrived at the site, said the driver clearly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to get out of the road and landed in a well.
