Delhi:
Scotching after summer days, the national capital and the surrounding areas are seeing changes in weather. Strong winds killed dusty storm in many parts of Delhi, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh this evening. Sources said Gusty winds have also affected flight operations, flying 15 flights and fly from Delhi. He said that many flights were also delayed.
While Air India said that some of its flights from Delhi and for it were either delayed or diverted due to thunderstorms, IndiGo and SpiceJet said that some of their quarrels could also be affected due to weather.

The meteorological office reported that strong winds can damage crops and weak structures, advise people to stay indoors and avoid travel if possible. “Do not take shelter under trees, do not lie on concrete floors and bend against concrete walls. Unplug the electrical appliances. Immediately get out of the water bodies,” advised.

Tree branches collapsed in many areas of Delhi, including Lodhi Udyan, as the scenes were shown to trees due to strong winds. In the Delhi Gate area, a tree fell on a stable motorcycle.

Delhi got light drizzle on Friday, which gave relief to the people of Heatwave in the last few days, keeping the temperature in the check.
On Monday, the maximum temperature of the national capital touched 40 degrees Celsius for the first time this season, marking a heatwave situation that persisted for three consecutive days. On Wednesday, the city recorded its hottest night in three years, in which the minimum temperature settled at 25.9 degrees Celsius.
