17 -year -old Gurugram boy, upset by scoring 75% marks in board exam, dies of suicide: police


Gurugram:

Police said a 17 -year -old boy died of suicide by jumping from the 15th floor in the Tata Primant Society in Sector 72 on Wednesday.

He said that the boy studied in a private school in Sector 49 in class 12.

According to the police, the boy was allegedly upset as he scored 75 percent marks in the CBSE exam, which was less than 90 percent, which he expected.

When he jumped, his father was at work and his mother was at home.

Heard the sound of fall, who informed the police.

He was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead.

The investigating officer said that the boy had no pressure to score 90 percent or more from his parents.
