205 flights delayed, departure for one hour late

Strong dust storms led to anarchy at Delhi Airport after the flight delay and the winds affected hundreds of passengers yesterday. Sources said that at least 205 flights were delayed, and at least 50 flights were removed from their prescribed destination.

Our flight is not yet taken,” said the trapped passenger.

The 75-year-old wheelchair-bound woman in a single flight said, “We have been stranded for more than 12 hours. We could not get into Delhi due to the storm. But we are waiting at Delhi Airport from 11 pm.”

Some flyers expressed their anger on X.

Posting a picture of the trapped passengers, a user wrote: “The most unabated, wrong world international airport, New Delhi … worse than the bus stand”.

One user wrote, “IndiGo flight from Kolkata to Delhi was re -rescheduled from the evening. @IndiGing Are you taking passengers? The people are already 6 hours late for it,” a user wrote.

Another said, “A flight from Delhi has not yet gone. You have rode them on time and have made them sit for two hours. Disgusting. Also according to the rule you are going to provide refreshments if the flight is delayed for more than two hours.”

Another Flier said, “Stressed at Delhi Airport for more than 14 hours …#AirIndia you have zero accountability and commitment to our passenger … You are not worth living in this place.”

Air India said in its advisor that some of its flights from Delhi and some of its flights were either delayed or diverted due to thunderstorms.
