3 soldiers killed as an army vehicle fall into the gorge in Ramban, Jammu and Kashmir.

Three soldiers were killed after an Indian Army vehicle fell into a gorge in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The dead soldiers have been identified as Amit Kumar, Sujit Kumar and Man Bahadur, per news agency. PTI,

Visuals showed the remains of the vehicle in a 700-foot-deepest gorge, in which the soldiers’ bodies, their belongings and some papers were scattered about the accident site.

The truck was part of a convoy from Jammu from Srinagar from National Highway 44, when the accident occurred near battery glasses around 11.30 am, per, copy PTI,

The Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and local volunteers launched rescue operations, which are currently running.
