Jaipur:
Four people who assisted the victims of a road accident were killed and eight others were injured when he was killed by a sharp truck in Dungarpur district of Rajasthan, police said on Sunday.
He said that the incident took place on Saturday at around 11.30 am under the boundary of SABLA Police Station.
According to SABLA Station House Officer (SHO) Raghuveer Singh, on Saturday night, a jeep returning from a wedding family away from the road near Pindaval Hilwadi bus stand left some passengers with minor injuries.
Local people gathered at the accident site. When they were transferred to an ambulance to an ambulance, a sharp truck first entered the electric pole before killing some people.
“During rescue efforts, a sharp truck lost control and hit the people standing nearby. The effect of the accident was serious. Three motorcycles were trapped under the truck,” the show Singh said.
The injured were rushed to a hospital in Sagwara in Dungarpur, where four people were declared dead.
The deceased have been identified as Luvaji Patidar, Dayalal Patidar, Savita Patidar and Bhavesh Patidar. They were returning from a wedding ceremony and stopped to help the jeep accident victims, the SHO said.
