Prayer, UP:
A four -year -old boy allegedly died at a school on Friday under suspicious circumstances, suspected that he was beaten by two teachers of the institution.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Yamuna Nagar), Vivek Chandra Yadav said that the school administration informed the child’s family that the boy had fainted.
He was rushed to a hospital by school staff and his family members, Mr. Yadav.
According to officials, the child was sent to another hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The body was then sent to SRN Hospital for post -mortem after the family’s consent.
His family lodged a complaint alleging that two teachers in the school carried out a physical attack on the child. Based on the complaint, an FIR has been lodged at Naini police station, the official said.
The DCP further stated that although the family has not accused any sexual assault in its complaint, the postmortem report involves an injury that suggests the possibility of sexual abuse that cannot be rejected.
“The police is investigating the case from all angles,” he said.
CCTV footage of the school is being investigated. Postmortem revealed injuries near the boy’s eyes, on his tongue, and one near his personal parts, Mr. Yadav said.
“We will be able to make a clear statement only after the investigation is completed,” the official said.
