50 -year -old man killed Tiger in Madhya Pradesh

The forest official said that a 50 -year -old man was killed by a tiger in a village in Balghat district of Madhya Pradesh on Saturday.

The victims, light papers, were working on their farm under the Tirodi police station area, when the big cat attacked him around 5 am, BL Sirsam, the depot officer, told PTI.

He said that the tiger has been wandering around Kundwa village, about 80 km from the district headquarters for more than a month.

The official said that the people nearby reached the spot after stoning the animal to cry and remove the animals.

He said that the tiger ran into a thick in the corridor of Kanha and Pench Tiger Bhandar.

After the attack, the villagers staged a protest, alleging that the forest staff did not pay attention to their complaints about the presence of Big Cat in the region for more than two months.

The police later pacified the protesters.

Police said the body of the deceased was sent to Katangi Hospital for a post -mortem.

A team from the Pench Tiger Reserve is installing a cage with fodder to catch the animal.
