Himmatnagar:
Police said six people, including a girl, were killed and eight others were injured, including a jeep, a state transport bus and a two-wheeler in Sabarkantha district of Gujarat.
The accident occurred near Hingtiah village when the jeep and bus collided on a state highway, said NR Umat, Inspector of Kherose Police Station.
He said that a motorcycle crashed into the jeep after a motorcycle collision with three riders.
The police officer said that six persons lost their lives and most of them were in jeeps, which were badly affected due to influence.
He said that the bus was on the way from Ambji in Banskantha district to Vadodara, while the other four wheelers were going in the opposite direction when there was a conflict, he said.
Eight people who were injured in a hospital in district headquarters Himmatnagar are being treated.
Most of those killed were men from Sabarkantha district, he said.
