6 months left, Center ended the term of IMF Executive Director KV Subramanian

Six months before its three -year tenure, the government has abolished the services of KV Subramanian as Executive Director in the International Monetary Fund (IMF), stated by sources on Saturday.

The appointment committee of the cabinet has abolished the services of Mr. Subramanian on April 30, 2025.

The reasons for the exit of Mr. Subramanian have not been officially declared.

Sources said that the government will soon be found to nominate its replacement in the IMF board.

According to sources, Mr. Subramanian is learned to question the IMF dataset, which did not go down well in the multilateral agency corridors.
