8 -year -old girl inaugurated the police post near Sambhal violence site

While his associates had Ram Navami feasts in the neighborhood, eight-year-old Gungun Kashyap was invited to inaugurate the police post near the Shahi Jama Masjid on Sunday-the site of a violent confrontation of the last year.

Gungun, a resident of Kot Garvi region, who was agitated last November, inaugurated the Satyavar police post by cutting a ribbon.

The event was marked by the presence of sambhal district magistrate rajender pensiya, superintendent of police krishan kumar vishnoi, additional sp (North) Asmoli Circle Officer Kuldeep Singh, and Inspector Anuj Tomar.

After the violence on 24 November, several police posts were declared to have a vigilance in the area.

The foundation stone of the Satyavar police post was laid on 28 December.

He said that this post will be doubled as a barrack for PAC personnel posted in the area.

The latest unit will be used to keep an eye on Kot Purvi, Kot Garvi and Kot Paschim.

On November 24, four people were killed and several others were injured during a mosque survey.

On 31 December last year, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owasi alleged that the police post was being built on the police post Waqf land near the royal Jama Masjid here, an allegation denied by the District Magistrate.
