86.56% students pass West Bengal class 10 exam, direct link here

WB results 2025 check online: West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) today declared the medium (class 10) board exam results. A total of 86.56% of the students passed the exam. This year, Purba Medinipur recorded the highest overall pass percentage in all districts at 96.46%. The Editro government topped the examination from Rajganj, with 696 marks out of 700 – an impressive 99.43%. The Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Vidya Mandir’s Anubahb Biswas in Malda and Soumya Pal of Bishanupur High School in Bankura jointly finished second, while the third rank was obtained by Ishni Chakraborty from Kotulpur Saroj Basini Balika Vidyalaya, which was with 99%.

The result is available on the special page of the board’s official website, wbbse.wb.gov.in, and NDTV. Students can use your scorecard using their roll number and date of birth on the result portal.

Top performing districts include East Midnapur (96.46%), Kalimpong (96.09%), and Kolkata (92.3%).

This year, more girls appeared for West Bengal Class 10 Board Examination compared to boys, with 5,55,950 out of a total of 9,84,753 with female candidates.

The principle examination was held from 10 February to 22 February, while the assessment for physical education, social service and work education was held from March 19 to April 2. All the examinations were conducted in the same shift, from 10.45 am to 2 pm, the first 15 minutes were allotted to read the question papers.

Students who did not pass in one or more subjects will get an opportunity to appear for supplementary examinations. The date and schedule for these examinations will be announced with the result announcement. Madhyamik 2025 mark sheet will be available online. About 15 days after the result is declared, the original mark sheet can be collected from the respective schools.
