9 ‘Pakistan spies’ arrested by India

Indian authorities have arrested at least nine people from three states for allegedly spying for Pakistan, which has increased monitoring on detective activities after the Pahalgam terror attack. Of these, at least four arrests were made in Haryana, three in Punjab, and one in Uttar Pradesh.

After the arrest of a visit to Valogger on suspicion of spying, the Hisar Police played an alarm that the young affected were being targeted by the enemy countries. For easy money, such influencers go on the wrong path, Hisar SP Shashank Kumar Sawan told reporters.

The 25 -year -old Davendra Singh Dhilan is a student of political science at Khalsa College, Patiala. On May 12, he was arrested in Kaithal, Haryana to upload pistols and guns on Facebook. It emerged during his question that he had visited Pakistan last November and shared sensitive information with the officials of the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) espionage agency including pictures of Petiala military cantonment.

The 24 -year -old Naaman Elahi, who worked as a security guard in Haryana, was arrested from Pinipat a few days ago. Reports suggest that he was in contact with an ISI handler in Pakistan. According to police residents of Uttar Pradesh, they used to receive money from Pakistan in their brother -in -law’s account to supply information to Islamabad.

The 23 -year -old Armaan was arrested on 16 May on the basis of intelligence input in Nu, Haryana. Police said it was passing sensitive information to Pakistan during an increased tension between the two countries. Police say they have evidence to support their claim, and the suspect is being further investigated.

Tarif was the second accused to arrest Nuh in Haryana. Two days after Arman’s arrest, he was picked up from the village of Kangarka in Tawadu subdivision. Police said that on seeing the police, he tried to remove some chats on his mobile. Some data of Pakistani WhatsApp numbers were also removed from their phones, the investigation revealed.

Shahzad, a businessman in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, was arrested on Sunday by the Special Task Force (STF) in Mordabad. The STF said that they had passed sensitive information related to national security to their handlers. He had traveled to Pakistan several times and was allegedly involved in smuggling cosmetics, clothes and spices.

Mohammad Murtaza Ali was arrested during a raid by the Gujarat Police in Jalandhar. His arrest followed the intelligence input that he was spying for the ISI of Pakistan. Reports show that he did this through a mobile app that he himself developed. Four mobile phones and three SIM cards were found with him.

Apart from this, two other people, known as Ghazala and Yamin Mohammed, have also been arrested from Punjab on similar allegations.

The arrest accepts importance after the increased tension between India and Pakistan. India blamed Pakistan’s terrorist infrastructure, as the role of a terrorist group associated with Islamabad emerged in the Pahgam massacre.

In response to the attack, India launched Operation Sindor to attack terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir. Pakistan soon launched a large -scale missile and drone attack, but the dangers were thwarted. In vengeance, Indian forces killed air areas in Pakistan. On May 10, a ceasefire ended enmity after four days.
