Raipur:
Police said thirteen people, all women and children died and 11 were injured in a trailer truck and a truck in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
Four children and nine women died in a road accident near Sargaon on Raipur-Bodazar Road in Ripur district late on Sunday night.
Police officials said that a family in Chatoud village had gone to Bansari village to attend a family function. While returning, the truck he was traveling collided with a trailer near Sargaon under Kharora police station area.
After receiving information about the accident, a police team was sent to the spot and the injured was Dr. Bhimrao was taken to Ambedkar Hospital, Raipur.
Raipur District Collector Gaurav Singh said that the district administration officials also reached the spot. He said that thirteen people were killed and 11 people were injured in the accident.
The collector said that the police registered a case and the case is being investigated.
