Amroha:
Police officials said that a 30 -year -old woman along with three children was converted into Hinduism and married a class 12 at the temple ceremony in Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday.
According to Hasanpur Circle Officer Deep Kumar Pant, the woman, Shivani was earlier known as Shabnam. She has no living parents and has married twice before.
UP is a state with an anti -conversion law. Religious conversion through the Religion Act of illegal conversion of Uttar Pradesh, 2021 times, fraud or any other fraud.
Police said they are currently reviewing the circumstances around the wedding, but no legal complaint has been filed so far.
The circle officer said that Shivani first married a person in Meerut, but the marriage ended in divorce. He then married Taufiq, a resident of Sainwali village, who was left handicapped after a road accident in 2011.
Recently, he developed a relationship with a boy in class 12 and at the age of 18.
Subsequently, Shabnam demanded and received divorce from Taufiq on Friday last week. Later, she turned into Hinduism and adopted the name Shivani.
Shiva’s father, Datram Singh, a resident of Sainwali, told reporters that he supports his son’s decision and the family is happy if the couple is happy. “We only hope that the two stay together peacefully,” he said.
