The Honor Magic V5 is set to launch earlier next month. Just a few days before the official disclosure, the Chinese brand posted the official images of the foldable handset, which reveals its design and color options. The company has also confirmed the upcoming foldable RAM and storage details. The Honor Magic V5 will have a slim profile feature and will be sold with 16GB of RAM and maximum 1TB storage in four color options.
Honor Magic V5 teased specifications
Honor is teasing Design of Honor Magic V5 Through your Weibo handle and China website. The phone is confirmed to be available in Don Gold, Silk Road Dunhuang, Velvet Black, and Warm White (Chinese) color options. It is listed in 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB RAM and storage options.
The Honor Magic V5 is confirmed to measure 8.8 mm thickness in the folded state, and is claimed as the world’s thinnest and lightest foldable smartphones. Honor has not provided details about the weight of the foldable. It is expected to be diluted compared to the upcoming Vivo X fold 5, which will measure at 9.2 mm thickness when turned.
For comparison, last year’s magic V3 had a folded form of 9.3 mm. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 is rumored to measure 3.9 mm when it came out and 8.9 mm when twisted. Oppo finds the N5, which is considered the world’s thinnest foldable smartphone, in its folded position measured by measuring 8.93 mm and 4.21 mm.

The Honor Magic V5 launch is scheduled to be held on July 2 in China. It is expected to come up with Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset and 16 GB RAM. The phone is expected to have IPX8-Ratid build and 6,100mAh battery, which has 66W wired fast charging support. The handset can get 6.45-inch Ltpo OLED cover screen and 8-inch 2K inner display.
