The Vijinjam International Cipport today welcomed the world’s largest eco-friendly container ship MSC Turki.
Powered by Adani Ports and SEZ Limited, Visinjam International COL is India’s first mega transpiration container terminal.
MSC Turkiye, run by the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), is a modern engineering Marvel. The vessel measures 399.9 m in length, 61.3 m width and 33.5 m depth.
The ship can load 24,346 twenty twenty-foot equivalent units (Teu), making it one of the largest container ships ever.
The Vijinjam International Cott, who received the new guest, is also a world -class, a port ready for the future.
It is the only transmission hub in the Indian subcontinent, the closest to the international shipping routes, and is located centrally on the Indian coast.
It is just 10 knots (19 km) from the busy pre-west shipping channel that connects Europe, Persian Gulf, Southeast Asia and Far East.
