In 2022, in April the highest minimum temperature was recorded at 26.2 ° C. In 2024 and 2023, the minimum temperature in April did not touch the 25-degree mark.
According to IMD, the humidity level in the capital came between 55 percent and 30 percent on Thursday.
For Friday, the meteorological office has estimated a thunderstorm with rain, with a maximum temperature of about 37 ° C, and a minimum of 24 ° C.
The Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi was recorded in the ‘poor’ category on Thursday with 256 studies according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
An AQI between 0 and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 to 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 ‘medium’, 201 to 300 ‘poor’, 301 to 400 ‘very poor’ and 401 to 500 ‘serious’.
