15 years after the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, the anti-terrorism agency NIA is now doing zero on an elusive person who allegedly meets Tavavur sunOne of the main accused in Dubai before Carnez. According to NIA sources, this person knew about the attack.

According to NIA sources, the officials are investigating whether the person was associated with the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), the military intelligence agency of Pakistan, a senior person within the Pakistani Army or a leader of a nominated terrorist group from Pakistan.
For NIA, the most complicated element is that the identity of this person is also kept in wrapped within the Elite Counter-Terror Network. Agencies believe that Rana may have referred to him in earlier interrogation by US authorities, whose classified reports are now in Indian hands.
Suspected lease
Another row of questioning revolves around a decision made by Rana and Headley in November 2008: neither renewed the lease of an office in Mumbai operated under the guise of Rana’s immigration consultation. The office was allegedly used as a cover by Headley, which was a cover to be a reconnaissance of potential goals including major hotels and public sites in the city.

Officials are investigating whether these trips were part of a reconnaissance mission to fulfill similar attacks.

During the earlier stages of investigation, the NIA considered many individuals as part of the wider conspiracy. These include Hafiz Saeed, the founder of Late; Zaki-ur-Remon Lakhvi, Operational Commander of Late; Sajjid Majid; Illus Kashmiri; And Abdur Rahman Hashim Syed, also known as Major Abdurarehman or Pasha.
The agency also alleged that these people worked with ISI officials, which included individuals known as chief Iqbal alias Major Ali and Major Sameer Ali alias Major Sameer. All are suspected of playing a role in the Mumbai attack plan, money and logical execution.
Rana and Headley attended the military school together in Pakistan and later participated in the immigration consultancy business, alleging that the authorities were used as a cover for terrorist operations.
High security custody
Rana is being held in a strong cell at the NIA headquarters in CGO Complex, Delhi. Armed CRPF and Delhi police personnel protect the external circumference. Inside, there is round-the-clock monitoring.
Every 24 hours, a medical examination is conducted. Rana is allowed to meet his legal lawyer in alternative days – but only under supervision, and only with a soft -tip pen.
