In the last week, while riding on a flight from Delhi to Dubai, CM Sarma said he was traveling without a phone charger.
A young man sitting next to him saw and, without any hesitation, offered his international plug and charging cable.
It was a small but important task of kindness, the way strangers still connect in meaningful ways.
With a smile and a gust of praise, CM Sarma accepted help and plugged into his device.
The journey continued smoothly, and as tired, CM Sarma closed to sleep.
Hours later, the Chief Minister woke up to find out that the aircraft landed in Dubai, and fell out of the plane in his flight.
Amid the movement of passengers, goods and airport announcements, in a crowd of dissatisfaction, an important details slipped it into the past: he still had a charger and cable in his possession.
The young man left him without reclaiming, unaware that his small gesture of his kindness would cause an unexpected turn in the journey.
In Amsterdam, CM Sarma found himself full of regret.
“This morning I traveled to a flying flight from Delhi to Dubai, where a kind young gentleman gave me his international plug and charging cable. Unfortunately, he was sleeping in Dubai, when I was sleeping, and I could not return them. You have written on any discomfort due to @MeMIRATES, and I have written on X.
CM Sarma also helped the Assam Police, which immediately started working to identify the man.
