OnePlus Nord CE 5 May soon launch; To pack larger battery than Nord CE 4

OnePlus Nord CE5 may be unveiled soon. While the company has not yet confirmed any details about the alleged handset, its expected features have started online surfaceing. A report recently indicated on some of the major specifications of the phone, including chipsets, storage and battery details. OnePlus Nord CE4 Heir is expected to pack a large battery on the current model. The previous Nord CE 4, 5,500mAh battery launched in India and a Snapdragon 7 GEN 3 SoC, launched in India in April 2024.

According to a smartprix, OnePlus Nord CE5 will be supported by a 7,100mAh battery ReportThis is a notable upgrade on the 5,500mAh cell of Nord CE 4. The report states that the alleged Nord CE 5 may offer one of the best battery performances in its segment. The expected price details are not yet known. Nord CE4 was launched in India at an initial price of rupees. 24,999 for 8GB + 128GB version.

In addition, the report states that OnePlus Nord CE5 can be operated by a Snapdragon 7 General 4SOC or a MediaTek Demidence 8400 chipset. It is also expected to support UFS 3.1 onboard storage. The Nord CE 4 smartphone comes with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS3.1 inbuilt storage.

According to the report, the anticipated OnePlus Nord CE5 will be launched next month. However, an accurate launch date has not been suggested yet. We can expect to learn more about the smartphone in the next few days.

OnePlus also introduced a Nord CE4 Lite 5G variant in India in June 2024. The handset is equipped with a Snapdragon 695 SoC and packs a 5,500mAh battery.
