New Delhi:
An official said that at least four people were killed and 14 others were rescued after the collapse of a four -storey building in Mustafabad, Delhi in the early hours of Saturday, many people still feared getting trapped under the rubble.
Senior police officer Sandeep Lamba said that the incident took place around 3 pm, after which the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Delhi Fire Services and Delhi Police teams were launched.

“14 people have been rescued, and four have died. Around 8–10 people are still trapped,” Mr. Lamba told the news agency ANI.

When asked about the reason behind the fall, Mr. Lamba said that he would investigate it.
The injured have been taken to GTB Hospital.
Divisional Fire Officer Rajendra Atwal said that he received a call about the incident at around 2:50 pm.
“We reached the spot and found out that the entire building collapsed, and people were trapped under the rubble. NDRF and Delhi Fire Services are working to save people,” he said.
After heavy rains in some parts of Delhi, a few hours after the fall of the house, there was a thunder with winds and thunder.
Last week, a wall of a low-building building collapsed during a severe dust storm near Madhu Vihar, killing one person and injuring two others.
In a separate incident on Saturday, five members of a family died after a house collapsed during a storm in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
