Prime Minister Narendra Modi Condemned Terrorist attack on citizens in Pahgam in Jammu and Kashmir And vowed to bring terrorists – who set the tourists on fire, enjoying the sun and greenery of the Besaran Valley – for justice. Shri Modi said in a brief statement on X, “People behind this heinous act will not be spared … Their evil agenda will never succeed.”
The Prime Minister also expressed his condolences to the family and loved ones of the person, whose death has been confirmed so far. All possible assistance will be provided, they emphasized.
“Our resolve to fight terrorism is unwavering and it will be even stronger.”
Shortly before his X post, the Prime Minister spoke to the Union Home Minister Amit Shah on a state visit to Saudi Arabia and directed him to visit the site of the attack to review the situation.
I strongly condemn the terrorist attacks in Pahgam, Jammu and Kashmir. There is condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured are cured as soon as possible. All possible assistance is being provided to the affected people.
