The iPhone 17 series is expected to be launched in select markets later this year. The lineup may include a base, an air, a supporter and a Pro Max variants. The company is expected to start mass production of the iPhone 17 series phones on a large scale soon, so that the expected September launch remains. iPhone 17 series EVT Step Cleaned
At least one model in iPhone 17 handset, or lineup, has approved the Engineering Verification Test (EVT) stage, According For macrumours, a paywalled digitime report cited preview. This phase is to ensure that the prototype hardware works expected. The report states that it is a “routine but major milestone.”
After EVT, the company may make some changes in the iPhone 17 series specifications. By completing the EVT stage, the company is now placed on the track with the unveiling of the iPhone 17 series. The handset is expected to clear the DVT (design verification test) and PVT (production verification test) stages before their mass production starts.
According to recent leaks, standard iPhone 17 and Pro variants are expected to have a similar height. The air version has been tipped to lengthen and is the thinnest of all variants, allegedly measuring 5.65 mm at its thinnest point. However, high-end Pro Max seems to be the longest and thick handset in the option lineup.
The iPhone 17 Pro has been tipped to come with a rectangular rear camera module with three cameras including a 48-megapixel telephoto shooter. This can be powered by the A19 Pro chip, while the air version can come with an A18 or A19 chipset with a 48-megapixel single rear camera. The phone is expected to have titanium middle frame.
