This was a disappointing result. But this did not mean the end of the world. At least for those parents who chose to give a glimpse of light and kept their faith in good old ”
Abhishek Cholchgudada, a student of Basaveshwar English Medium School in Bagalkot, Karnataka, scored only 200 out of 600 (about 32%) and failed all six subjects in his 10th board examinations.
While his friends, on forecasted lines, jokingly mocked him to fail, the student’s parents were standing on his behalf. Instead of scolding or shaking her, they cut a cake and held a small festival for the upliftment of their souls.
The parents told him, “You can fail in the exam, but not in life. You can always try again and succeed next time.”
Gone deeply with the support of his parents, Abhishek said, “Even though I failed, my family encouraged me. I will write the exam again, pass, and succeed in life.”
