Two weeks after the horrific Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian armed forces on Wednesday carried out missile attacks on nine terrorist goals in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir.
Here we know about Operation vermilion:
- The military attacks were done under ‘Operation Sindoor’, the Indian Army said in a statement issued at 1.44 pm.
- Under the operation, the army hit terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Jammu and Kashmir, from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed, ”the army said in a press release.
- The army stated that it had targeted nine sites, “No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted”. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in the method of selection and execution of goals, ”the army said.
- Operation Pahalgam was in response to the terrorist attack in which 25 people, most of the tourists were killed.
- The army said that a detailed briefing on ‘Operation Sindore’ will take place later today.
