S Jaishankar discussed ‘zero tolerance for terrorism’ with Germany, France, Japan, Qatar

In view of Operation Sindoor, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar discussed with the Foreign Ministers of Spain, France, Germany, Japan and Qatar.

He emphasized India’s approach to cross -border terrorism and thanked his solidarity and support.

Shri Jishankar discussed India’s measured response to cross -border terrorism with Spain’s Foreign Minister Jose Manual Albaras.

In a post on X, Mr. Jaishankar wrote, “Talked with Spain’s FM @jmalbares. Discussed India’s firm and measured the response to terrorism across the border.”

Jaishankar interacted with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot and German Foreign Minister Johann Wadeful and appreciated his solidarity after the Pahalgam attack.

“The FM was a joint telecon with FM @Jnbarrot of France and FM @Jnbarrot in Germany. Pahlgam appreciated his solidarity and support in view of the terrorist attack. Discussed to ensure zero tolerance for terrorism,” Shri Jaishankar wrote on X.

In a conversation with the Japanese counterpart Takeshi Evea, Jaishankar discussed India’s action against the terrorist infrastructure across the border.

Sharing a post on X, Jaishankar wrote, “There was a telecon with Japan’s FM Takeshi Eva. Appreciate the strong condemnation of the 22 April terrorist attack. This morning discussed India’s action against the terrorist infrastructure across the border.”

Jaishankar spoke to Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister and discussed India’s “targeted response to prevent border terrorism”.

Jaishankar wrote on X, “It is good to talk to Qatar’s PM & FM @mba_Arthani_. Discussed the response reacted to prevent India’s target and cross -border terrorism.”

After the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian armed forces launched a strike on deep terrorist bases inside Pakistan and Pakistan under ‘Operation Sindoor’ on Wednesday morning. Wing commander Vyomika Singh said that a total of nine terrorist sites were targeted and destroyed successfully. He said that places were selected so that there is no loss to the citizens and their infrastructure.

“Operation Sindoor was launched by the Indian Armed Forces to give justice to the Pahalgam terrorist attacks and the victims of their families. Nine terrorist camps were targeted and successfully destroyed … To avoid damage to the infrastructure of citizens and to avoid the loss of any civil life,” Wing Commander Vioxion said.

Meanwhile, during press briefing, Colonel Sophia Qureshi presented videos of the destruction of terrorist camps, including Muridke and Jahan David Headley and Ajmal Kasab, criminals of 2008 Mumbai attacks.

Apart from Muridke, Sarjal Camp in Sialkot, Markz Ahle Hadith, Barnala and Markz Abbas, Kotli and Mehmoon Zoya Camp, Sialkot were targeted in attacks carried out by the Indian Army, Colonel Qureshi informed.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that the attack on Pahalgam was inspired by the purpose of reducing the withdrawal of normal status in Jammu and Kashmir.

“The attack in Pahalgam was marked with excessive vandalism, mostly killed with the victims with head shots and in front of their family … Family members were deliberately shocked through the way of killing them, as well as the message should be taken back. The attack should be taken back to reduce Kashmir.
