A 37 -year -old Indian -origin person stabbed inside a bank branch in England

A 37 -year -old man has been stabbed to death inside a bank branch in Eastern England city of Darby, which has been formally identified as Gurvinder Johal.

A 47-year-old Somali-Moo man was accused of murdering him on Thursday.

The Derbyshire Constable Officers were called to report that a person was stabbed at the Lloyds Bank branch on St. Peter Street in Derby on Tuesday afternoon.

Police said Johal was declared dead at the scene and after consulting the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), Hebe Cabdirxman Noor was accused of killing him.

“After reviewing the evidence provided by Derbyshire Constebulary at Eastern Midlands, Deputy Chief Crown -chief Crown Prosecutor Samanath Shalo, we have authorized criminal allegations regarding the death of 37 -year -old Gurvinder Johal.”

He said, “Mr. Johal died on Tuesday, May 6 after a stabbing inside Lloyds Bank in St. Peter Street, Derby, after 2.30 pm. 47 -year -old Hybey Noor Cabdirxman has been accused of killing him from Noronton in Derby,” he said.

Noor presented the Videolink at the Southern Derbyshire Magistrate Court on Thursday, when he addressed the court to confirm his name and age through only a Somali interpreter and was sent to custody to appear before the Derby Crown Court on Friday.

The hearing was attended by Johl’s family members, who were known for friends as Danny.

“Our views remain with Mr. Johal’s family at the moment. Crown Prosecution Service is all concerned that criminal proceedings against the defendant are active and have the right to fair testing. It is very important that no reporting, comment or information should be shared online that can any way prejudicate these proceedings,” Uthale said.

In his 30s, another person, who was arrested in connection with the incident, has been released without any other action.
