India’s advanced air defense network effectively thwarted Pakistan’s many drones and missile attacks, which targeted its military installations, and thus reinforced its airspace control.

India’s air defense system includes Russian -built S -400 which is widely considered the best in the world. The Narendra Modi government ordered five of them from Russia in 2018 at a cost of Rs 35,000 crore; Three have been distributed, two and up to 2026.
Three distributed systems are now operational with Pakistan and China borders.

Sources told NDTV about the effective defense of enemy missiles and drones, and the accuracy with which India gave their own projector, means that the country is ‘not able to defend its sky … it now controls them’.
