Pakistan continued to spread wrong information about India, including false claims of attacks on Amritsar. India is competing with these lies with facts and evidence, emphasizing Pakistan’s efforts to mislead the world.
New Delhi:
Officials said that with three waves of drones and missile attacks on military and civil goals in India, the Pakistani establishments and the people supported by it have continued to spread lies, in which Indian armed forces have removed missiles on Amritsar, officials have said.
The authorities listed a series of half-hearted and lump sum lies propagated by Pakistan to sow discord in India, trying to paint themselves in a flattering light and attain the world sympathy. He also stated that measures are being taken to combat such misinformation, which includes time-stages and visual evidence on time.
“Pakistan is running a comprehensive campaign full of lies that target India, using both official channels and social media, to incite communal disturbance, false reports about military events, spreading panic between Indian citizens and create international illusion about India’s actions.”
Due to Pakistan’s involvement in the biggest lies, officials said, “Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan, claims that India fired missiles at Amritsar.” Another wrong claim, in the same vein, was that India attacked Nankan Sahib Gurdwara in Pakistan.
Blast to Pakistan for derogatory allegations, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said on Friday that he continued efforts to mislead the world.
“Pakistan already made more abusive claims that it was the Indian Armed Forces and Indian Air Force which was targeting cities like Amritsar and trying to blame Pakistan. It is nothing but Pakistan to overcome its acts of aggression.
Mr. Misri again slammed Pakistan on Saturday, called it on a “lame effort”.
He said, “Pakistani officials have also continued to claim India about firing missiles towards Shiritsar Sahib. As I said, these lame efforts to divide India are ruined for failure,” he said.
The army can be inflated
Accounts in Pakistan have spread publicity about the destruction of Indian bases in Gujarat, Uri, Nagrota and Rajouri and similarly, a news channel, PTV said that Akhanur and Bathinda Airfields have been destroyed. All these claims have been debated.
Since India started Operation Sindor on Wednesday, in response to the Pahgam terror attack, several claims of Indian jets down have been made with photographs of the first accidents.
Officials said, to spread nervousness among the people in India, there were also rumors about explosions at Jaipur and Srinagar airports and explosions in the infrastructure of railway and power providers.
Another big, and false claim, it was that India had fired missiles in Afghanistan and Iran. It has also been called by Mr. Misri.
“This is a completely horrific claim that Indian missiles have killed Afghanistan. Completely trivial allegations. And I just want to tell that there is no need to remind the Afghan people in which country it is, which are on many occasions in the last one and a half years, targeted civilian population and civilian infrastructure,” abroad.
India’s response
“India has responded to this information attack with a firm, evidence-based strategy contained in transparency and accountability,” an official said.
One of the methods of doing this is timely and accurate fact-sting with visual evidence. A dedicated team has been deployed, detecting the origin of misleading videos and confirming the real dates and reference of recycled images.
Fact-check of the Press Information Bureau has been shared through various channels, including X, for the promotion of Pakistan in Kali.

Press briefing by the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Defense, he said, has also shared verification evidence and informed people about what is really going on.
“India’s counter campaign has gone beyond deputation, it is also revealing systemic flaws in Pakistan’s military infrastructure that the disintegration is designed to obscure the disintegration. The campaign states how the Pakistan Army, often posted as a combined force, works as a corporate buyer of foreign weapons.”
