New Delhi:
It was Pakistan – and despite repeated claims by President Donald Trump in the United States – that India was asked to stand during Operation Sindoor, government sources on Monday told NDTV that the Parliamentary Standing Committee was informed in foreign affairs.
Sources said the committee was told that the ceasefire petition had come from Islamabad, especially the Director General of Military Operations of Pakistan, who reached its counterpart in Delhi.
‘There was no American intervention during Operation Sindoor’, the committee was told.
