Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced that the Trinamool Congress would leave the all-party international delegation on Sindoor citing lack of consultation. She said that if the government reaches, it can reconsider.

Kolkata:

Mamta Banerjee, the Chief Minister of Bengal and the chief of the Trinamool Congress, has said that her party would leave the All-party International delegation on Operation Sindor, as the Center did not consult her party as the representatives of the country before the name of its three leaders. However, Ms. Banerjee said that this is not a boycott and if the government reaches it, it will reconsider the matter.

“We will certainly send a representative if they inform us. Why we won’t do? The dispute here has no meaning. We are completely with the government,” Ms. Banerjee today told reporters that he is leading to the mountainous city of Darjeeling to avoid heat.

“We have made it clear that we are supporting all steps to counter terrorism, protect the sovereignty of the country and protect the national interest … if a delegation is going, which I think I think my party can only decide that the Union Government cannot decide unilaterally,” said Abishek Banner.

However, Mr. Banerjee participated in the briefing of the Ministry of External Affairs in Delhi for the leaders, which are part of the seven delegations sent by the government. So is Sagarika Ghosh of Trinmool, who is also part of another delegation.

The boiled case was boiled after the cricketer-consentor Yusuf Pathan was nominated by the Center, leaving his more senior party colleagues. He was considered part of a delegation led by Janata Dal (United) MP Sanjay Jha, who is ready to visit Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan and Singapore.

Mr. Pathan chose, accusing Trinmool a leader of “biased politics”, leading Trinmool.

In a post on X, BJP’s co-integrity for Twitter, West Bengal Amit Malviya in the east, said, “This sends an unconscious message that Mamata Banerjee and her party are not ready to speak against the Pakistan-provided terrorism”.

He said, “Worse is that while a Cocks of the senior party prevails, there is a possibility that they were not part of the delegation, other senior TMC MPs are now sending to the femalers,” he said.

In addition to Trinmool, the Congress has raised similar objections after only one of the four leaders he was named by the Center.

The Center also named three other Congress leaders, who were not recommended by the party.

The Congress list included Anand Sharma, Gaurav Gogoi, Nasir Hussain and Raja Brar – only Anand Sharma was accepted. The center list included former diplomats Shashi Tharoor, Amar Singh and Manish Tiwari.

Calling the Center’s move “mischievous” and politically inspired, the Congress said, however, it would allow leaders to go into “national interest”.

Senior party leader and in its communication, Jeram Ramesh said, “The Congress party believes that the national interest is paramount … let the MPs go … We will not be able to stop them. We will not boycott this delegation. We do not politicize it.”

After Operation Sindor, the government has taken a major initiative to send teams of leaders – cut into party lines – to brighten them and explain the “collective resolution on terrorism” to major countries.

The delegation is being led by Bajiant Panda, BJP’s Ravi Shankar Prasad, Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal’s Sanjay Kumar Jha, Shiv Sena, Shashi Tharoor, DMK Kennozi and Shikant Shinde of Srikanth Shinde of Eknath Sinde faction of Nationalist Kangandha. The delegation will go to 32 nations and the European Union headquarters Brussels, Belgium.
