Faridabad:
Police said on Monday that two people have been arrested for allegedly killing their friend by injuring their private parts in Sector 58 area of Faridabad.
Police said Manoj Chauhan, a resident of Sanjay Colony, was allegedly killed by his four friends – Etinder, Karthik, Sandeep, and Rahul, who were all under the age of 30, while he was bathing in a farmhouse.
The accused poured a water pipe to the private parts of Chauhan and released high pressure water, causing serious internal injuries. He later died during treatment in a hospital, he said.
An FIR has been registered at Sector 58 police station on the basis of a complaint filed by the victim’s brother Anand Chauhan under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyana Code (BNS) criminal murder.
According to the complaint, on the morning of May 17, the four took Manoj to a farmhouse and around 9 am, they returned her home in critical condition, saying that his health deteriorated.
Anand claimed that his brother told him about the attack before he died during treatment, the police said.
He said that the residents of Sanjay Colony have been arrested for Sandeep and Rahul alias Kabatar, while there are efforts to detect Atiinder and Karthik.
During interrogation, the accused revealed that he was a friend with Manoj and went to attend the wedding ceremony on the night of 16 May, said a senior police officer.
He said that the next day, he went to a farmhouse near the dumping yard.
During the incident, Sandeep organized Manoj, while Rahul allegedly put a pipe associated with a running submersible in his private parts. High pressure water caused internal injuries, the official said.
The group then took Manoj home, and later died during treatment, he said.
Police said raids are being conducted to arrest other accused.
