A woman was raped and harassed and left to die in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. He died before reaching the police place. A fierce rape-murder took place around 1 pm on Saturday in the Roni Chowki area under Tribal Zone Khalwa.
Police said that the woman was the mother of a tribal, two children. The woman was found unconscious by her daughter in the neighboring house.
Based on the information of the villagers, the police have registered a case and arrested two acquaintances of the woman, who are suspected of gangrape. Men have been identified as Hari Palvi – who lived in the house where he was found – and Sunil Dhurve.
The body of the woman has been sent to the district hospital and a postmortem is being operated.
A senior local police official said, “A post -mortem is being organized at Khandwa District Hospital under a close watch of forensic experts. The report will reveal further details”.
