The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has allegedly visible on the Geekbench benchmarking site. The listing for book-style foldable phones tells us about some of its major specifications. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is listed with Snapdragon 8 Elite SOC. Samsung is likely to use overclocking versions of Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip on the upcoming foldable. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is estimated to be launched in July with the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 appears on Geekbench
Geekbench website allegedly listed Galaxy Z fold 7 with model number SM-F966nA similar handset with model number SM-F966U first appeared on the benchmarking site in April. The model number SM-F966N is believed to be combined with the Korean version of the foldable.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Galaxy Z fold 7 will run on Android 16 and will include at least 12 GB RAM. The phone tested on the benchmark platform is named ‘Sun’ of a motherboard codon, with six CPU core at 3.53GHz and two CPU core, with a summit of 4.47GHz. The speed of codename and CPU appears to be associated with Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset.
Samsung is expected to pack the overclocking version of Snapdragon 8 Elite in the new phone, which is like the “Galaxy” versions of the Snapdragon chips in the previous foldables and the Galaxy S25 series.
Additionally, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has got a single-core score of 2,617 on the listing and a multi-core score of 9,369. For reference, Prototype with SM-F966U has scored 18,143 marks on OpenCL test on Geekbench.
