After the pregnant woman died at Poon Hospital, the doctor resigned citing dangers

The hospital said that a counseling gynecologist at Dinnath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune, who was firing on the death of a pregnant woman, has resigned on Monday when she was refused to enter due to payment of Rs 10 lakh.

The medical director of the hospital, Dr. Dhananjay Kelkar said that Dr. Sushrut Ghisas, a counselor maternity and gynecologist, called intensive public anger, social media backlash, and the reasons for calling the causes of danger.

The hospital has been in the eyes of the storm after the death of Tanisha Bhis, wife of the private secretary of BJP MLC Amit Gorke, who was reportedly denied payment of deposit of Rs 10 lakh. He later died in another convenience after giving birth to twins.

Family members of the slain woman, Dr. Gaisus has been accused of demanding the deposit before entering.

Dr. Kelkar said, “In his resignation letter, Dr. Ghisas said that he is under tremendous mental pressure due to public outrage, criticism and threats. They are afraid that it will affect their ability to treat other patients and compromise their family’s safety. To avoid injustice for their work, they have decided to resign.” The hospital administration has resigned its trustees, and it is expected that it will be accepted, he said that Dr. Ghisas will complete his prescribed surgery and work by Thursday.
