A 23 -year -old pregnant woman died at a Jaipur Hospital, claiming her family that she was transferred with inconsistent blood.
The hospital, however, suggests that the woman’s condition was already important.
The native of Tonk district was admitted to Sarai Mansingh Hospital on May 12 with a seriously low hemoglobin level, milery tuberculosis and other health complications, said the officials said. He died on 21 May.
On May 19, a blood transfety was requested to the hospital’s blood bank based on a test sample, which was reportedly marked her blood group as+.
Sources said that the next day he was administered blood.
However, during the latter requirement, a new sample reportedly indicated that its blood group was B+, an increase in a potential mismatch, the sources said.
“I was on leave at that time. When inquiring, I was informed that the patient had demonstrated a reaction during the transfusion. She was already critically ill because of the milery TB and after the intrusion of the intravenous fetus, there were complications.”
The transfusion reaction report mentioned symptoms including fever, cold, hematuria and tachycardia after this process.
Prem Prakash, the brother -in -law of the deceased, told the news agency that the family had no information about “wrong” blood transfusion.
Deepak Maheshwari, Principal of Sarai Mansingh Hospital, said, “The woman’s condition was already important and negligence related to blood is being investigated.”
