A woman’s body found inside the suitcase at home, family claims suicide: Police

Officials said the police on Sunday claimed the body of a woman inside a large suitcase at their family residence for her family that she had committed suicide.

He said that the husband of a 32 -year -old woman claimed that she died by hanging herself from a dupatta, and she removed the body and put the police inside the suitcase for fear of action, he said.

Other family members, including the couple’s children, confirmed the husband’s claims.

Superintendent of Police Rajesh Dwivedi told PTI that the body of Ashok Kumar’s wife Savita was found inside a suitcase at her house in Tilhar Town.

According to Dwivedi, the woman’s brother -in -law informed the police that she had allegedly died of suicide.

However, when a police team reached the spot, they found that his body was hidden inside a suitcase.

The preliminary examination showed marks around his neck, he said that the body had not yet disintegrated, the SP said.

During interrogation, Savita’s husband claimed that he committed suicide by hanging herself from his dupatta. Police said that for fear of taking action against him, he removed the body and placed it inside the suitcase.

Dwivedi said that this version of the incidents was confirmed by two children of the doubles. However, the work of hiding the body in a suitcase raised doubts, he said.

The body has been sent for post -mortem, and an investigation is going on. The SP said that legal action will be taken against anyone.
