Mumbai:
A few days after this raised a call to boycott the all-party delegation, the Shiv Sena (UBT) said on Tuesday that the party would support India’s global outreach on terror on terror in “national interest” after the party Union Minister Kiren Rijuju was called to Uddhav Thekere.
SENA (UBT) also said that the Center should follow the protocol to inform the parties about these delegations to avoid “anarchy and mismanagement”.
“Union Minister Kiren Rijiju spoke to Uddhav Thackeray on telephone on Sunday to discuss his party’s participation among all party representatives going to various countries.”
The party said that it was assured that the delegation is about clarifying India’s stance against terrorism and not politics.
“When confident, we have also assured the government that we will do what is correct and what is necessary for our country through this delegation,” said the Army (UBT).
It said that the party’s Rajya Sabha member, Priyanka Chaturvedi, will be a part of the delegation along with other MPs across the country.
In particular, Army (UBT) spokesman Sanjay Raut said on Sunday that the components of India block should boycott the central government’s move to send all party delegations to various countries, claiming that they would defend the “sins and crimes” committed by the government.
India is sending all-party delegations to the capitals of various countries to explain its position on terrorism against the backdrop of Pahgam terrorist attacks and Operation Sindoor from Pakistan.
Fifty political leaders, MPs and former ministers who cut in party lines will be part of seven delegations.
The Army (UBT) said that all political parties have expressed support for the Prime Minister in the fight against terrorism, especially to destroy Pakistan-based terrorism, their infrastructure and bases.
The party said, “We are all united in the action of the armed forces against terrorism; there should be no two ways about it,” the party said.
However, it will be looking for an explanation about “intelligence failure” in the Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 people were killed, the Army (UBT) also insisted that Pakistan-based terrorism should be exposed.
“We have our opinion about diplomatic status and unsuccessful intelligence/ security mechanisms on Pahalgam, and we will continue to ask questions within our country, in the best interest of our country. However, we should rally globally to expose and destroy the culinary-based terrorism, to separate and destroy it.”
The SENA (UBT) has informed the central government about the support of the reason, even stated that “a protocol can be done to better inform the parties about these delegations to avoid chaos and mismanagement”.
“We have confirmed our support for any such action in the national interest. We have also demanded an all-party meeting, headed by the Prime Minister, to discuss from Pahgam to Operation Sindoor,”.
