Air India has suspended flights to Israel’s capital Tel Aviv for the next two days after the Houthi Ribels missile attack at Ben Gurian Airport this morning. Airlines said in a statement that a flight from Delhi to Tel Aviv was taken to Abu Dhabi. Air India has also assured that people with legitimate tickets will be given the option to prescribe a discount or re -determination. The verdict, Air India said, has been taken to ensure safety of passengers and employees.
“Air India flight AI139 was diverted to Abu Dhabi after an incident at Ben Gurian Airport this morning from Delhi to Tel Aviv from Delhi to Tel Aviv. The flight has normally descended into Abu Dhabi and will soon suspend with Delhi and our operations by 6 May 2025. The airline said in a statement.
He said, “A one -time discount will be offered to cancel customers booked on our flights with legitimate tickets between 4 and 6 May 2025. We would like to reiterate that in Air India, the safety of our customers and crew remains the highest priority in Air India,” said this.
Four people were injured after a missile was removed from Yemen near the main terminal of Ben Gurian Airport. The missile strike briefly stopped operations at the airport. Officials later said that operations had resumed.
Hurti military spokesperson Yahya Sari said that Ben Gurian Airport “was no longer safe for air travel”. Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katj has threatened a tremendous response. He said, “Whoever kills us, we will strengthen them seven times more.”
Iran -backed Hurti rebel, targeting Israel with missiles and drone attacks, has said that they are in solidarity with Palestinians.
