Air India has announced that amidst increasing tension between India and Pakistan, all flights from Tel Aviv and by May 25, 2025 will be suspended.

In a travel advisor posted on X (East Twitter), Air India said, “Our flights will be suspended till 25 May 2025. Customer holding valid tickets for the journey by 25 May 2025 will be offered a full return for a one -time discount or cancellation at the re -radiation fee.”
IndiGo also issued a travel advisor, which announced the cancellation of all flights from Srinagar, Jammu, Amritsar, Leh, Chandigarh, Dharmashala, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Rainsangar, and Rajkot to midnight of May 10, 2025.
The advisor posted on the official X handle of IndiGo assured passengers that the airline would provide updates through official channels and assist with any changes in travel plans.
The Mumbai International Airport issued a passenger advisor stating that it is on, but warns to wait for a long time due to the increased security protocol.
Passengers were advised to arrive early, cooperate with security personnel, and follow the official channels for accurate information.

Akasa Airlines and SpiceJet also issued a similar advice on X, urging passengers to come at least three hours before the departure due to an increase in safety measures. Akasa Airlines said, “Due to an increase in security measures at all airports across India, we request you to reach the airport at least 3 hours before departure.”
These developments come amid growing tensions between India and Pakistan, with a report of firing by the Pakistan Army, and the climatic regions of Jammu and Kashmir were violated with the report of the firing by the Pakistan Army across the Line of Control (LOC) in Uri, Kupwara, Tang.
The tension between India and Pakistan increased after the Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindoor in the early hours of Wednesday (May 7), targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POK).
The operation was a ventilative response to the terrorist attacks in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April, resulting in 26 civilians including a Nepali National.
Operation Sindor is one of the deepest attacks carried out by India within the undisputed sector of Pakistan since 1971, which successfully targets terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Jammu and Kashmir. It marks New Delhi’s most important military action within the Pakistani region in five decades.
