Google is now rumored to develop a new dedicated first-party desktop mode for Android phones and tablets over the years, and may be closer than ever. According to a new leakage, Android desktop mode dubbed the dubbed feature earlier was expected to come up with Android 16 this year, but can now see its release with Android 17. It is estimated to offer similar capabilities as Samsung Dex and Motorola Connect, making users re -shape Windows and quickly infection between a mobile and desktop interface.

Tipster Mishal Rahman recently gave details about Android Desktop Mode Live stream On X (East Twitter). The new desktop experience can enable users to take advantage of the big screen through their phone. When the phone, especially a pixel, is attached to an external display such as a laptop via USB Type-C, it can offer a desktop-style interface.

Earlier, this new desktop experience was asked to come up with Android 16. The latest Android 16 beta update also added a new developer option “enable desktop experience features”. However, its release may be delayed. According to Rahman, Google requires more time to polish the user’s user interface and thus, it cannot come up with Android 16. Instead, this feature is now estimated to debut with Android 17 on the next generation of Pixel phone.
