Apoorva Mukhija, an influential social media man, who was surrounded by a controversy on the show India’s Got Latant, shared an Instagram post with a screenshot of rape, acid attacks and dangers of death.
After removing his post, he returned, shared an Instagram post, in which people along with screenshots of their photos and comments left on the reels, some threatened him to rape and death, others threatened him to attack an acid attack.
He wrote in the caption, “And it’s not even 1%”
In February, the Maharashtra Cyber Cell recorded the statement of Apoorva Mukhaja, an influential social media person about a controversy over India’s latent, where Utubar and Podcaster Ranveer Allahbiya made aggressive comments about parents and had sex on Raina’s show India’s show.
The podcaster later released a public apology, accepting that his comments were not only unfair, but also a lack of humor.
Allahbadia said in his apology, “My comment was not just unfair, it was not even a funny. Comedy is not my fort, I am just here to say sorry.”
He also addressed concerns about his influence on young audiences, promising to use his platform more responsibly in future. “Family is the last thing I will ever humiliate,” he said.
Comedian Samay Raina appeared before the Guwahati Crime Branch on 6 April, in relation to the case filed against him for allegedly promoting pornography and obscene materials through his YouTube show ‘India’s Got Latant’.
On 10 February, the Guwahati police registered an FIR against some YouTubers and social influencers, such as Ashish Chanchala, Jaspreet Singh, Apoorva Mukza, Ranveer Allahbadia, Sam Raina and others to promote pornography and sexually attached to sexually discussed in a show.
Guwahati Crime Branch gave a case video to cyber PS case no. Was registered under 03/2025 section – Read with Section 4/7 of BNS 2023 with Section 4/7 of 79/95/294/296 Seks 67 Se 67 of Seks 67, 2000, Cinematograph Act 1952, which read with the individual representative of the Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986.
Earlier, YouTuber Ashish Chanchala, who is one of the alleged accused in the case, as well as the affected Apoorva Mukhija, Podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, Comedian Samay Raina and others, were also present in front of the Guwahati Crime Branch to record his statements.
