Apple seeds iOS 18.5 updates to developer beta 3 iPhone; Public beta 2 also released

Apple on Monday rolled out for iOS 18.5 developer beta 3 updated developers and beta tester. According to the previous recurrence, it comes as a minor update to the iPhone with similar features in the tow. Simultaneously, this bundle fixes a bug, due to which the black screen appears on the new Apple Vision Pro app in some cases, with other known issues. Shortly after, Apple also released the iOS 18.5 Public Beta 2 update with a handful of changes compared to the publicly available iOS 18.4.1 edition.

IOS 18.5 Developer Beta 3 and Public Beta 2 update: What’s new

As Apple, both iOS 18.5 Developer Beta 3 and Public Beta 2 update leads to similar changes to the Developer Beta 1 update that Apple released earlier this month. By tapping the three-dot option from the top-right corner of the screen, the correct contact with the Mail app is a new option to togue photos. While the same functionality was previously available through the Settings app, the update also adds a new shortcut to the mail app.

Users can also close the group by calling sectors, categories and AI priority messages options in the app by calling on the same three-dot menu. Applecare and warranty coverage are visual enhancement for the page and a new banner for applecare coverage now appears in the Settings app. This enables them to learn more about the coverage purchased by tapping the link. Apple says that iPhone users can also manage their Applecare scheme by going to their Applecare scheme and selecting a device from the device list.

Along with features, there are also a handful of bug fixes. According to the Cupertino-based tech veteran, the latest update brings a fix for the problem affecting the Apple Vision Pro app, due to which it had to be launched with a black screen when downloaded from the app store. They also correct an already existing issue where the availability of C APIs, which provide direct access to system resources and hardware functionalities within the HVF structure, were not being tested properly.

Another bug that was previously discovered and corrected was related to storquet, a structure used by developers is used to provide facilities and services for its apps and in-app purchases through the app store. This resulted in the resulting IseligibleForintroffer (for :): If the user was not signed on the device in Storekit, Fals Returning Fault. Although the above issues were resolved with iOS 18.5 Developer Beta 1, the latest developer beta 3 and public beta 2 updates still fix it on their affected equipment.

Updates also highlight a new bug. Apple says that it is aware of an issue that may cause failure when requesting Siri to play a song in Apple Music in many platforms.
