Apple’s 20th anniversary iPhone in 2027 under-display camera, face ID: to debut with report

The series of Apple’s iPhone 17 smartphones is expected to come later this year, according to recent leaks, with a new design for the rear panel. According to the details shared in its latest power on the newspaper in Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, the company is working on a re -designed version of the smartphone that will be unveiled in the 20th anniversary of the iPhone in 2027. While the current model of the company has a dynamic island, Apple is expected to transfer selfie camera and face ID sensors under the screen within the next few years.

Apple’s two-step approach to an iPhone without a dynamic island

In his newspaper, Gurman writes that Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 series will look similar to the iPhone 16 series, but only from the front. Recent reports suggest that the company will equip the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro with rear camera layouts, while standard iPhone 17 is expected to design the same as the current model.

Next year, Apple will introduce successors with iPhone 17 lineup (possibly phone 18) Dynamic island According to the journalist, compared to one of its current smartphone models. A recent report suggested that Apple will shift its face ID sensor under performance, and the selfie camera may be located in a hole-pan display cutout.

Gurman had earlier claimed that Apple would equip his 20th anniversary iPhone with an all-screen design and a curved glass display. He also said that the company’s 2027 iPhone models will expand on the new liquid glass UI and design language which will come with iOS 26 and Macos 26 updates later this year.

So far, it appears that this all-screen design for the 2027 iPhone model will be limited to the pro model. Apple will not be the first OEM to introduce smartphones with all-screen display, Nubia has released several models with under-display cameras in recent years.

However, it is best to take these claims with a grain of salt, as there is no word from Apple on a plan to launch a re -designed version of your smartphone in the coming years. The company usually does not announce new hardware features until they are ready to launch, so we can only learn more about this handset that leads to its introduction in months.
