New Delhi:
Due to its back and no other option available against the wall, Pakistan’s top committee on security took place today and after one hour of discussion, decided to reflect India’s actions in view of the terrorist attack in Pahgam in Jammu and Kashmir.
Islamabad has also decided to suspend the permits issued to Indians under the SARC visa exemption scheme, while all other visas have been suspended, as was done by India a day earlier. It also decided to reduce 30 persons in a tight-for-tat decision to reduce Indian diplomatic staff in the High Commission.
But at the end of India’s defeat on India’s decision to suspend India’s Indus Water Treaty, Pakistan said, “Any attempt to prevent or remove water flow related to Pakistan according to the Indus Waters Treaty, and the rights of Lower Repairian rights will be considered as a task of war and will be responded to with full force with national power.
Pakistan should face a serious situation, the Indus and two other rivers – Jhelum and Chenab – which flow in the country are diverted or closed, in which tens of million people are affected. Pakistan is already facing a shortage of intense water and such a punitive step will likely to cripped the state of Pakistan.
