The Assam government visited the residences of two bereaved families in Karnataka on Sunday and continued to hand over financial assistance to the families of the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack along with Minister of State Bimal Borah.
The state government is providing assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the families of all 26 victims of the April 22 attack.
Borah visited Manjunath Rao’s residence in Shivamogga, and gave a check to his wife Pallavi.
In a post on X, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “As Manjunath ji’s family comes with irreparable loss, we express our collective solidarity for the family in these difficult times. My colleague Mr. @Bimalorborah 119 has extended a token to help the family to help the family.” Borah said that the Assam government is firm with all the victims of the intoxication during these efforts.

The minister also visited the residence of India Bhusan in Bengaluru and handed over a check to his family.
Assam’s cabinet ministers are visiting bereaved families from Friday to Friday to hand over financial assistance.
