A source said that at least 60 domestic flights were canceled from Delhi airport on Saturday.
Security measures have been reinforced, and at least 32 airports in the northern and western parts of the country have been temporarily closed as military conflicts between India and Pakistan have intensified.
The source said that 30 domestic departure and 30 arrival were canceled from 5.00 am to 2.30 pm at Delhi Airport.
On Friday, 138 flights to Delhi Airport were canceled by various airlines.
Many flights have been canceled at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in the last few days.
In a post on X on Saturday, Dial said that the operation of the airport continues as normal.

“However, due to the development of airspace situation and increasing the safety measures directed by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, some flight programs may be affected and it may take longer in safety processing time,” this can be said.
Passengers have also been advised to arrive early to accommodate a possible delay in security check.
In addition, Dial has requested passengers to cooperate with the airline and security staff for smooth convenience.

A total of 32 airports in northern and western parts of the country including Srinagar and Amritsar have been closed for civil flight operations till 15 May.
