Srinagar:
The army said on Wednesday that security forces killed at least two terrorists after stopping an intrusion bid in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Chiner Corps posted on X at 8 am, “On 23 April 2025, around 2-3 UI militants tried to infiltrate the Uri Nala, Baramulla (in North Kashmir) through the general area Sirjivan.”
“Warning soldiers challenged and stopped the intruders”, resulting in a fire fighting.
An hour later, it was said that two terrorists were “finished”.
Chiner Corps said, “Stories such as large quantities of weapons, ammunition and other war have been recovered from terrorists.”
The operation is in progress, it was added.

He also cut his journey to Saudi Arabia and returned on Wednesday morning. On his return, he held a meeting with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Foreign Minister Jaishankar at Delhi Airport and took stock of the situation after the terrorist attack in Pahgam.
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri was also part of the meeting.
