The Bengaluru police said on Thursday that a person was arrested for threatening public safety by performing a dangerous stunt on a public road for Instagram Reel.
The accused was seen sitting on a chair on the road drinking tea. The reel was shot on Magdi Road on 12 April.
The video was later uploaded on Instagram, quickly attracted public attention.

After the viral clip, the police started an investigation and tracked it.
The police posted on X, “The traffic line will take the time of tea, not fame, not fame !!! BCP is watching you,”
He said that such careless behavior is a punishable offense, and strict legal action will be taken to not compromise public safety.
